Job summary

Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH) is seeking a Senior Consulting Engineer/Architect to manage small to medium-size projects in New York. You'll investigate building repairs, train staff, and ensure project success through design and consulting. Ideal candidates will have 7+ years of experience and hold a P.E. or R.A. license.

SGH offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and a 401(k) plan. A sign-on bonus of $7,500 is available for this position.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of architectural/engineering or construction management experience.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Registered Architect (R.A.) license required.
• Ability to travel to remote job sites.

Responsibilities

• Act as project manager for small to medium-size projects.
• Investigate and design repairs for existing buildings.
• Provide on-the-job training and mentoring to staff.
