Job summary

Bevara is seeking a Lead Building Engineer in Phoenix, AZ to oversee daily facility operations, maintenance, and repair of building systems. You will lead and mentor the engineering team, ensuring safety, compliance, and energy efficiency across sites.

The role reports to the Regional Engineering Manager and requires 3–5 years in facilities with at least 2 years in supervision, plus strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in commercial building or facilities operations with 2+ years in supervision.
• Experience leading multi-site operations and cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation, maintenance, and repair of building systems.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate engineering staff across sites.
• Manage BAS/EMS for energy efficiency and occupant comfort.
• Coordinate with Chief Engineer and Regional Engineering Manager on staffing and projects.
• Direct work orders, liaise with vendors, and ensure safety compliance.
