Job summary

Stream Realty Partners, L.P. is seeking a Lead Building Engineer to oversee maintenance, repair, and alterations of our portfolio's buildings.

You will plan projects, manage service contracts, and provide technical support to the Chief Building Engineer while ensuring safety and compliance. You will lead maintenance teams, coordinate with tenants and vendors, inspect buildings for hazards, and participate in budget planning.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in commercial building operations or property management.
• Strong verbal and written communication with tenants and vendors.
• Familiarity with base building mechanical, electrical, plumbing, life safety systems.
• Ability to interpret plans and specifications.
• OSHA standards compliance and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules, orders materials, and supervises work on building systems.
• Supervises minor construction or building alteration projects.
• Keeps records and prepares reports on maintenance activities.
• Develops and administers maintenance contracts, RFQ processes, and bid evaluations.
• Coordinates with departments, public agencies, and external vendors.
• Inspects buildings for safety hazards and accessibility requirements.
