Job summary

Founders 3 is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician/Building Engineer for a multi-building portfolio in Menomonee Falls. The role covers monitoring, walk-throughs, and coordinating preventive maintenance across complex mechanical systems including heat pumps, boilers, and building automation.

Strong communication with owners and the board is essential. Ideal candidate has advanced technical education or certifications in facilities maintenance and at least five years of building

Qualifications

• Advanced technical education or certifications relevant to facilities maintenance.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in building operations, engineering and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and report to the Commercial Property Manager.

Responsibilities

• Monitor properties, conduct regular walk-throughs and manage maintenance programs.
• Oversee preventive maintenance and repairs to plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems.
• Obtain bids, negotiate contracts and assist with budget preparation.
• Maintain inventory control, complete reports and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Communicate maintenance issues and projects to staff, owners and board members.
