Job summary

Founders 3 Real Estate Services in Milwaukee is seeking a Building Engineer to understudy and eventually serve as a dedicated on-site technician for a high-rise condominium. You will work directly with the property’s manager and the existing building engineer to learn day-to-day operations, monitor the property, conduct walk-throughs, and organize and manage maintenance programs.

Qualifications

Advanced technical education or certifications relevant to facilities maintenance.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in building operations, engineering and equipment and systems maintenance.
Strong customer service, communication, follow through, detail orientation and computer skills.

Responsibilities

Monitor the property, conduct regular walk-throughs, organize and manage the maintenance programs, preventative maintenance and repairs to HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems.
Obtain bids, negotiate contracts and assist with budget preparation and inventory control.
Complete reports as required, respond to emergency calls, and communicate with staff, owners and board members regarding issues.
