Job summary

Kovach Enclosure Systems seeks a Senior Technical Project Manager to be the technical authority for building enclosures on Las Vegas projects. You will lead code compliance, specification conformance, and performance testing across Division 7 and Division 8 scopes, including AAMA field and laboratory testing for fenestration and enclosure systems.

This role owns the project’s technical health, anticipates testing needs, resolves performance issues before field problems, and serves as the trusted

Qualifications

• 10+ years in building enclosure, curtain wall, glazing, or enclosure contracting.
• Division 7 & 8 expertise in systems, specs, and performance standards.
• Hands-on testing with AAMA/FGIA and ASTM protocols for fenestration.
• Strong knowledge of building and energy codes and AHJ interactions.
• Proven project management of complex technical scopes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and construction management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead code compliance for Division 7 & 8 systems across projects.
• Plan and oversee AAMA testing programs and field tests.
• Provide technical direction and coordinate subsystems.
• Direct submittals, product data, and engineering calculations.
• Develop QA/QC protocols for enclosure installation.
• Liaise with general contractor, architect, and consultants.
• Respond to RFIs and communicate changes to teams.
• Offer field support through project completion.
• Mentor project managers and field leaders.
