Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Building Enclosure Senior Project Manager in Columbus, Ohio. You will lead enclosure commissioning projects, mentor staff, and grow the local Building Science Solutions team while expanding client relationships.

The role covers project delivery, technical oversight, and business development for both new and retrofit projects, with travel up to 25% as needed. Strong leadership and a background in building enclosure consulting are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or Architectural Engineering and 5+ years in building enclosure consulting.
• Professional registration or ability to obtain within one year (AIA/NCARB/SE/PE).
• Experience in building enclosure commissioning and proficiency.
• Strong understanding of building enclosure systems and construction.
• Experience in managing a range of small to large projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead building enclosure commissioning projects and train staff in BECx processes.
• Provide consulting, commissioning, design and construction phase services for new buildings.
• Perform enclosure investigations and remedial design for existing buildings.
• Prepare proposals for new work and assist in achieving profit goals.
• Mentor staff and assist in hiring and training the team.
• Develop business in the local area and pursue regional opportunities.
