SOCOTEC is seeking a Building Enclosure Consultant or Senior Consultant in Redmond, WA to lead enclosure design, detailing and analysis on high-performance projects. You will advise owners and architects, conduct field reviews and prepare assessment reports to support durability and code compliance.

Applicants should have 5–10 years in enclosure consulting, along with a license (Architect or Engineer) and strong client-relations skills.

Formación

5–10 years of building enclosure consulting and project management.
WA/CA/CO/AZ/HI/TX/OR/ID/MT/UT licensed architect or engineer preferred.
Experience with client relations, preparation of construction documents, bidding, and construction administration.
Experience with quality assurance reviews of drawings and specs.

Responsabilidades

Undertake building enclosure design, detailing and analysis, and participate in testing, fabrication and construction administration.
Advise architects, owners, contractors, developers and property managers on building enclosure performance, constructability, and durability.
Conduct/oversee field review and progress inspection on designated projects.
Conduct/oversee assessment reports for existing structures including root-cause analysis and repair recommendations.
Document and maintain well written reports on project activity from proposal to completion.
Ensure familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
