Job summary
The Building People is seeking a Senior Building Controls Technician to work on building automation systems, requiring 25% travel. Key responsibilities include designing control systems, programming, troubleshooting, and supervising installations. Qualifications
Excellent customer service and ability to work well with others.
Experience with multiple manufacturers of controls is a plus.
Technical knowledge with installation of controls equipment.
Responsibilities
Design and engineer control system hardware and software.
Maintain accurate project documentation.
Perform network troubleshooting and repair programming.
Provide project management assistance on projects.
Supervise sub-contractors and suppliers as needed.
Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Programming skills
Strong analytical skills
Strong troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of DDC Control Theory and Applications
Strong knowledge of DDC communications protocols
Education
At least 3 years of experience with control systems
