Job summary

The Building People is seeking a Senior Building Controls Technician to work on building automation systems, requiring 25% travel. Key responsibilities include designing control systems, programming, troubleshooting, and supervising installations. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in control systems, Niagara N4 certification, and strong knowledge of DDC protocols. Benefits include medical, dental, 401(k), and paid time off. Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and ability to work well with others.
• Experience with multiple manufacturers of controls is a plus.
• Technical knowledge with installation of controls equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer control system hardware and software.
• Maintain accurate project documentation.
• Perform network troubleshooting and repair programming.
• Provide project management assistance on projects.
• Supervise sub-contractors and suppliers as needed.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Knowledge of DDC Control Theory and Applications

Education
