Job summary

CodeGreen is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Building Code Project Manager to guide clients through the complex world of building code and regulatory approvals. You will move high-profile projects forward by ensuring filings, permits, and approvals are completed accurately and efficiently with a strong customer focus.

You will work within our Code Compliance team on DOB processes, filings, and approvals, coordinating with design consultants and construction managers.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of building code project management experience in NYC with DOB sign-off requirements.
• Deep knowledge of NYC permit application processes and filing platforms.
• Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail across multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project).

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end filing and permitting services across city agencies (DOB, LPC, FDNY, DOT, etc.).
• Prepare proposals, monitor project budgets, issue Change Orders, and develop project schedules with internal teams and clients.
• Lead ALT-2 filings and full TCO/FCO processes from filing through approval.
• Maintain ongoing client communication, conduct site visits, and advance projects to removal of roadblocks.
• Mentor junior team members and participate in business development activities.
