Job summary

Arkansas Children’s Hospital is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to install, diagnose and repair Building Automation Systems across our campus. The role focuses on environmental control systems and advanced electronics to keep hospital operations safe and efficient.

The ideal candidate has an Associate Degree or equivalent experience with 4 years in facilities maintenance, plus relevant HVAC controls knowledge and certifications.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or Equivalent Experience is required.
• Work Experience: 4 years in related Facilities field, with installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electronic and pneumatic HVAC controls.

Responsibilities

• Responds to service calls and provides preventive maintenance and troubleshooting for Building Automation Systems.
• Maintains fully functional systems by following blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Monitors systems, documents alarms and unusual events, and repairs equipment.
• Demonstrates understanding of emergency response procedures.
• Assists with special projects and recommends efficiency improvements.
• Prepares and delivers training presentations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
