Responsibilities

Summary: We're seeking an experienced Senior Building Automation Service Technician to join our growing team in Columbus. In this role, you'll troubleshoot, service, commission, and optimize commercial building automation systems while building long-term relationships with customers across a variety of commercial facilities. What You'll Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Building Automation (BAS/DDC) control systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance, system inspections, point-to-point checkout, sensor calibration, and database backups.
• Program and adjust control sequences, schedules, setpoints, and system databases.
• Perform controller replacements, startups, commissioning, and system upgrades.
• Identify equipment or system issues and recommend corrective actions to improve performance.
• Provide onsite and remote technical support, including occasional after-hours service as needed.
• Complete service documentation and communicate project updates with customers and internal teams.
• Identify opportunities for system upgrades or additional services and collaborate with the sales team.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of Building Automation (BAS/DDC) service experience.
• Strong troubleshooting, programming, startup, and commissioning experience with commercial HVAC control systems.
• Working knowledge of BACnet and experience with BAS platforms such as Niagara, Delta Controls, Schneider Electric, Siemens, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Automated Logic (ALC), Distech, or similar systems.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
