• 5+ years of experience in building automation (HVAC controls) design.
• Ability to travel up to 35%.
• Design large and complex jobs using standard tools and practices.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Hybrid role with visits to local area office.

Responsibilities

• Understand project requirements and design building automation solutions for various facilities.
• Demonstrate expertise in engineering and contracting processes with submittal documentation.
• Attend meetings to support opportunities and contribute technical details to designs.
• Prepare design documents including mechanical layouts, electrical drawings, and BOMs.
• Design network architecture to support operator workstations and field panels.
• Analyze plans, codes, and specs to determine project requirements and risks.
• Prepare re-estimates and coordinate with sales/management on scope.
• Perform quality assurance and peer-review engineering documents.
