Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA seeks a Senior Build Systems & Software Robustification Engineer to lead the build, toolchain, and quality infrastructure for a complex C++ robotics platform. On-site in Massachusetts, you will ensure reproducible builds and robust CI/CD practices that span the full development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Extensive experience designing and maintaining C++ build systems with CMake and Bazel.
• Experience with static analysis tools and sanitizers (ASan/TSan/UBSan).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and own the build system architecture and toolchain configuration for a large-scale C++ robotics software stack.
• Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines and improve build reliability and test signal quality.
• Establish software quality tooling, artifact management, and version traceability.
• Collaborate across software, robotics, and systems engineering teams to adopt scalable engineering best practices.
