Job summary

IntelliBee is seeking a Build & Release Engineer in Lansing, MI to manage and enhance the build and release process for DTMB. The role requires deep expertise in configuration and version management, and strong experience with CI/CD automation across Bridges and MiSACWIS environments.

You will serve as the technical advisor to vendors and internal teams, optimize release pipelines, and script automation workflows to improve reliability and speed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years responsible for higher‑environment build automation, auditing, and administration of software configuration and version‑management processes.
• 10+ years researching, evaluating, and recommending application software products related to configuration and version‑management processes.
• 10+ years deploying new releases of application, configuration, and version‑management software.
• 10+ years guiding systems development staff on project administration and management for Build Automation, Configuration Management, and Version Management tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage source code control processes and enforce standards; baselining, versioning, problem analysis, resolution and tracking.
• Serve as the DTMB–DHHS liaison with vendors and technical teams.
• Act as technical expert on performance issues for systems using build automation, configuration, and version management tools.
• Deploy new releases of build, configuration, and version management software.
• Guide staff on project administration and management for build automation and related tools.
• Design and script automation workflows to support efficient build and release operations.
• Monitor and optimize build pipeline performance to reduce times and boost reliability.
• Conduct root-cause analyses on build/deployment failures and implement preventative actions.
