Job summary

FastTek Global is seeking a Programmer Analyst 6 in Lansing, MI to drive automation across CI/CD for Bridges and MiSACWIS environments. You will manage source control, implement build automation, and serve as the DTMB-DHHS liaison with vendors. The role emphasizes performance, reliability, and process improvement.

You will deploy releases, script workflows, and guide staff on project administration for build/automation tools. Strong collaboration with development teams is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years building automation, auditing and admin of software configuration and version-management processes.
• 10+ years researching, evaluating and recommending application software for configuration and version-management.
• 10+ years deploying new releases of application, configuration, and version-management software.
• 10+ years guiding systems development staff on project administration and management for build automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage source code control processes, define standards, baselining, versioning and issue tracking.
• Serve as DTMB-DHHS liaison with vendors and their technical teams.
• Act as expert on performance related issues using build automation and version management tools.
• Deploy new releases of build, configuration, and version-management software.
• Advise staff on project administration and management for build automation projects.
• Design and script automation workflows for efficient build and release operations.
• Monitor and optimize build pipeline performance to reduce times and boost productivity.
• Conduct root-cause analysis on build/deployment failures and implement corrective actions.
