Responsibilities

• Budget strategy and execution: analyze division budget requests and recommend performance measures.
• Legislative analysis: evaluate legislation and prepare fiscal notes on financial impact.
• Financial tracking: maintain Excel spreadsheets and balance the budget cycle; reconcile SAM II reports.
• Reporting and data management: generate, maintain, and analyze budget/expenditure reports using SAM II, Excel, and Access.
• Research and advisory: perform ad hoc analyses and present recommendations to FMDC management.
• Leadership support: assist FMDC budget preparation and back up management as needed.
• Analytical excellence and precision: convert data into actionable reports with high accuracy.
• Initiative: exercise professional judgment and proactive problem-solving on budget/policy matters.
