Job summary

The Architect of the Capitol (AOC) seeks a Business Financial Analyst for the Senate Office Buildings (SOB). You will act as the principal financial advisor, overseeing budget formulation, execution, and financial management for SOB operations and construction activities.

You will work with program managers and senior leadership to develop spend plans, analyze cost data, forecast funding needs, and ensure accurate reporting and controls across SOB programs.

Qualifications

• Budgeting and financial analysis knowledge implied by role.
• Ability to analyze financial data and develop plans to resolve issues.
• Experience coordinating with multiple managers and senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Budget Formulation and Execution: principal advisor on budget matters and prepares budget for review.
• Financial Resources Analysis and Reporting: analyzes financial data and forecasts fund usage.
• Financial Advisory Services: develops budget trackers and resolves financial management issues.
