Job summary

Oklahoma Department of Rehabilitation Services is seeking a Budget Analyst to join the Financial Services Division in Oklahoma City. The analyst will prepare and submit the annual Budget Request, manage the Budget Work Program, and perform in-depth fiscal analyses to support funding decisions.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and at least three years of professional budget or fiscal analysis experience, with proficiency in Excel and Access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus three years of professional budget administration or fiscal analysis experience.
• Ability to review and analyze financial data and develop budget recommendations.
• Knowledge of governmental budgeting, revenue sources, and legislative processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit annual Budget Request and Budget Work Program (BWP).
• Perform complex review and analysis of revenues, expenditures, and encumbrances vs. budgeted amounts.
• Contribute to budget revisions, legislative reports, and department-wide fiscal projections.
• Travel as required and support payroll budgeting, reconciliation, and projections.
