Mayvin is seeking a Financial Analyst III to support the U.S. Marshals Service, Budget Execution within the Office of Budget Execution. The role focuses on complex budget execution functions, monitoring spending, and providing data-backed recommendations to leadership.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or finance.
• At least 5 years evaluating annual financial statements and ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• At least 5 years of experience in budget execution during a fiscal year budget cycle.
• Experience analyzing information and making recommendations.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) with MS Office Suite.

Mansioni

• Advises USMS leadership on budgetary actions, annual spending plans, funding adjustments, and budget reprogramming to address program changes and legislative mandates.
• Monitors obligation and expenditure trends and/or relevant data for assigned districts/divisions/staff offices program areas.
• Maintains complex databases, registers, and other accounting/tracking systems employed by the organization.
• Conducts program reviews of district and headquarters programs to identify ways to improve business practices and reduce costs.
• Prepares budget briefing materials (e.g., inquiry response, data requests, and execution policy).
