Job summary

The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) is seeking a Senior Budget Analyst Cost Management to join the Office of Fiscal and Monitoring Services in Columbus. You will support budgeting processes, payroll coding, and financial reporting using CAPIS, HCM, OAKS, Kronos, and related systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance with the Cost Allocation Plan.

Qualifications

• 4 years experience in budgeting with fiscal management and control.
• Graduate or undergraduate program in accounting, public finance, public administration or business administration with related experience.
• Experience using quantitative/statistical analysis in budgeting and cost forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Set up payroll coding in CAPIS and HCM.
• Create combo codes and upload budgets to OAKS, HCM and FIN.
• Review complex financial data to identify issues and next steps.
• Build and maintain accurate financial coding and speedcharts from fiscal data.
• Process the biweekly payroll journal and prepare OAKS uploads.
• Review and update codes in Kronos, TAMM, CAPIS to align with CAP.
