Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university.
• Preferred Degree Programs include Accounting, Business Management, Public Management.
• Preferred Experience: Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel) and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the preparation of Medicaid Cost Reports.
• Works with Medicaid to calculate interim rates.
• Incorporates audit adjustments into cost reports and calculates final rates.
• Assist with developmental center cost report settlements.
• Works with Medicaid to negotiate final settlement.
• Uses MITS to pull monthly remittance advices.
• Submits Medicaid claims to MITS using Excel worksheets.
• Assists in review and analysis of fiscal records.
• Provides technical assistance with QuickBooks for internal funds/accounts.
• Assists in preparation and analysis of revenue and expenditure tracking.
• Assists in preparation and submission of state/federal fiscal reports.
• Establish deliverables.
• Reconciles QuickBooks balances to old ledgers (DCIMS/Excel).
• Prepares bank reconciliation reports between QuickBooks and bank statements.
• Uses OAKS BI reporting tools to generate balance and voucher/detail reports.
• Uses Excel functions to create reports and forecast expenditures, revenue, and cash.
