Job summary

Motus Recruiting and Staffing, Inc. seeks a Sr. Business Systems Analyst for Compliance, Change and Configuration in Vancouver, WA. The role supports change management, compliance, and system configuration within a high-availability environment.

Responsibilities include requirements analysis, specifications development, and coordination with development teams. The candidate will map data structures, test APIs, and contribute to audits and training materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering preferred; 8+ years experience with a degree.
• With an Associate’s Degree, 10+ years experience; without a bachelor, 12+ years expected.
• 5+ years in SDLC for high availability environments.
• 3+ years in change and configuration management tools/systems.
• 3+ years in compliance and/or audit support.
• 1 year experience with process development and rollout.
• Minimum 3 years performing systems/requirements analysis on enterprise apps using Java/JEE and/or .NET.

Responsibilities

• Support change management, process and compliance requirements for the organization.
• Analyze system infrastructures, functional requirements, and technical capabilities for system acquisitions.
• Develop or review specifications, verifying that all essential requirements are documented.
• Distribute requirements to hardware/software configuration items or manual operations with appropriate modeling techniques.
• Review top-level design for applications and information systems, including test plans.
• Verify that software specifications and development plans are correct and within scope.
• Review and validate configuration management policies for traceability and documentation.
• Code, test, install, and document programs per applicable standards.
• Prepare and conduct presentations and training for internal and client audiences.
• Develop recommendations and support analysis for management decisions.
• Develop technical concepts to support proposal development.
• Attend meetings and conferences to stay current with technical trends and customer needs.
• Monitor system performance and plan future changes.
• Support organizational change processes and configuration management efforts.
• Develop and document processes to support NERC CIP and NIST/FISMA requirements.
• Create training materials and job aids; support reporting and audits.
