Job summary

Polish National Credit Union is seeking an experienced BSA Officer to oversee the BSA/AML program and maintain compliance with applicable requirements. The role interfaces with senior management and cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate regulatory risk.

Responsibilities include policy maintenance, monitoring, SAR/CTR processes, and training. A strong background in BSA/AML within a credit union is essential, with professional certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering requirements, USA PATRIOT Act, CIP, SARs, CTRs, and OFAC.
• Experience in BSA/AML within a credit union or financial institution preferred.
• Strong analytical, investigative, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret regulations and translate requirements into effective policies and practices.
• Experience with BSA/AML monitoring, SARs, CTRs, CIP, and regulatory examinations preferred.
• Professional BSA/AML certification preferred (NCBSO or CAMS).

Responsibilities

• Administer and oversee the Credit Union’s BSA/AML program and coordinate day-to-day compliance.
• Review and update BSA/AML, CIP, OFAC, and related policies to reflect risk and regulatory changes.
• Oversee monitoring of accounts for unusual activity and determine SARs necessity.
• Coordinate SAR/CTR filing and ensure confidentiality and reporting.
• Maintain BSA/AML risk assessments and update based on risk.
• Provide BSA/AML training to employees and Board as needed.
• Act as primary contact for BSA/AML examinations and audits.
• Collaborate with departments to address compliance issues and corrective actions.
