Job summary

East Cambridge Savings Bank, Cambridge, MA, seeks a Senior Bank Secrecy Act Officer to lead BSA/AML compliance efforts. Reporting to the Fraud Prevention & Analytics Officer, you will oversee monitoring, investigations, reporting, and program enhancements.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree, at least 5 years of BSA experience, 3 years in management, and hands-on experience with BSA/AML software such as Bankers Toolbox, Patriot Officer, JHA Yellow Hammer, or Verafin.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent through coursework and training.
• At least 5 years of BSA experience and 3 years of management experience.
• Extensive knowledge of regulatory requirements related to the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering.
• Experience with BSA/AML software (Bankers Toolbox, Patriot Officer, JHA Yellow Hammer, Verafin, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Manage all BSA related operations including monitoring, investigating, and reporting to ensure compliance.
• Perform document reviews, conduct employee interviews/questionnaires, and ensure complete BSA/AML documentation.
• Utilize fraud account monitoring software to detect and document due diligence, report findings, and manage cases.
• Oversee CTR/BSA reporting processes and maintain software configurations and thresholds.
• Supervise direct report(s) performance, training, and hiring decisions.
• Coordinate CIP reports and monitor high-risk accounts for enhanced due diligence.
• Develop and enhance BSA/AML training programs and procedures.
• Prepare management reports for the BSA Committee and Board of Directors.
