Job summary

East Cambridge Savings Bank is seeking a Senior BSA Officer to lead the BSA/AML program and oversee fraud monitoring operations in Cambridge, MA. The role reports to the Fraud Prevention & Analytics Officer and requires strong regulatory knowledge and program management experience.

The position includes supervising staff, enhancing training, and coordinating with the BSA Committee to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent through coursework and training.
• At least 5 years of BSA experience and 3 years of management experience.
• Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills; extensive regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage all BSA related operations including monitoring, investigating, and reporting for compliance.
• Conduct document reviews, interviews, and other monitoring tasks; document all BSA/AML program materials.
• Utilize fraud account monitoring software to identify suspicious activity; open and manage cases and report to BSA Committee.
• Oversee CTR/CI postings, ongoing monitoring, and reporting; supervise staff and conduct performance appraisals.
• Develop and update BSA/AML training programs and ensure effectiveness; stay updated on industry changes.
• Prepare management reports for the BSA Committee and executives; coordinate with departments and audits.
