Job summary

Stantec seeks an experienced Brownfield Project Manager to lead due diligence, assessment and redevelopment efforts across the Midwest, with emphasis on Great Lakes states. The role requires strong proposal development, grant support, and senior-level coordination of field activities.

Candidates should have 10+ years of relevant experience, a relevant degree, and licensure is highly desirable. Travel is possible; office-centric with field components in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in environmental due diligence, assessment, remediation, and project management in at least one Great Lakes state.
• Bachelor’s degree in geology, environmental science, engineering or a related field.
• Experience managing federal or state funded brownfield/redevelopment projects and licensure is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental due diligence, assessment, cleanup, and brownfield redevelopment projects with focus on safety, quality, budget and deadlines.
• Oversee Phase I/II ESAs, sampling projects and provide senior review of deliverables.
• Prepare proposals and marketing materials; assist grant applications for environmental projects.
• Schedule field investigations; write and review technical work plans and health/safety plans.
• Coordinate field staffing, contractors, and laboratories; ensure proper documentation and reporting.
• Support environmental cleanup activities and compliance with state/federal regulations.
