Job summary

Paramount Skydance Corporation is seeking a Principal Engineer, Production Systems to design, install, and support broadcast production systems including audio, video and control networks at our New York facility. You will craft solutions, document configurations, and ensure security and compliance for live and non-live shows.

Ideal candidates bring extensive broadcast systems knowledge, SMPTE 2110 expertise, and hands-on troubleshooting experience.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of broadcast systems including SMPTE 2110 IP design and implementation.
• Strong networking fundamentals and VLAN implementation understanding.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Visio.
• Hands-on troubleshooting across software and hardware in broadcast environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and support in-house video, audio and control systems.
• Support maintenance department for problem-solving and repair of above-mentioned systems.
• Maintain network and system documentation.
• Conform to CBS security policies, initiatives, and compliance reporting.
• Supervision of project as relates to wiring technicians is required.
