Job summary

Ball State University Media Services in Muncie, Indiana, seeks a Senior Broadcast Engineer to maintain and optimize broadcast media equipment across campus facilities, studios, and remote productions.

You will work with students and staff, lead technical projects, configure networks and signage, and ensure uptime during high-traffic events. The position is full-time with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in electronics or related area or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of related experience; strong computer skills.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable under the university's auto fleet policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for remote media productions and events.
• Install, maintain, and repair broadcast equipment for University Media Services.
• Lead design and maintenance of broadcast control rooms and studios.
• Set up and monitor equipment for studio and remote productions.
• Read diagrams and perform component-level repairs.
