The ideal engineer will dig deep into fault domains, analyze traffic, and coordinate with NOC, network engineering, and vendors to improve stability. 5+ years in network engineering or technical support is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on experience troubleshooting Layer 2 and Layer 3 in production
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, Ethernet, VLANs, ARP, DHCP, DNS, IPv4/IPv6
• Experience with BGP and OSPF/IS-IS routing
• Knowledge of VRFs, NAT/CGNAT, QoS, and IP service delivery
• Ability to use network device CLI for diagnostics
• Experience with packet capture and telemetry analysis

Aufgaben

• Provide technical support for production broadband network issues after service launch
• Troubleshoot complex incidents including connectivity, latency, and performance
• Analyze network stack to locate fault domains across access, aggregation, transport, and IP layers
• Perform detailed fault isolation to identify contributing components
• Collaborate with NOC, engineering, operations, and vendors to resolve issues
• Own or drive incidents to resolution and conduct post-incident reviews
