Job summary

PRIME AE Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Bridges/Structural to join our Transportation team in Richmond or Fairfax, VA. This role leads bridge projects from planning through delivery, balancing technical oversight with strategic leadership.

You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality, collaborating with clients and multi-disciplinary teams. A VA PE license and 10+ years of bridge experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering preferred; PE licensure in VA required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage bridge projects, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Serve as PM/Project Engineer on VDOT bridge projects and other public-sector clients.
• Oversee staffing and workload for multi-disciplinary teams.
• Provide technical oversight for bridge analysis and design per codes and client requirements.
• Review design calculations, plans, specs, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate geometry, quantity development, and deliverables.
• Manage client communications and lead project meetings.
