Job summary

Fox Point Recruitment LLC is seeking a Bridge Project Manager in the Allentown area to lead bridge and transportation structure projects from preliminary design through construction. The role offers ownership of project delivery and mentorship of engineers, with a hybrid work schedule and relocation bonus after 90 days.

The ideal candidate brings extensive bridge/structural design experience, strong client-facing communication, and proven leadership across project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Engineering focus from an ABET-accredited program.
• 10+ years of bridge and structural design experience.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license; Virginia PE preferred.
• Experience providing structural engineering from preliminary design through construction.
• Demonstrated experience managing bridge or structural design projects, including scope, schedule, budget, and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead bridge and structural engineering projects through all phases of design and construction.
• Establish and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
• Provide technical direction on bridge and transportation structure projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and technical resources.
• Develop project management and quality management plans.
• Oversee preparation of construction plans and related submittals.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
• Manage subconsultants and coordinate their project responsibilities.
• Monitor project progress, financial performance, and overall delivery.
• Prepare progress reports, review invoices, and address project issues.
• Develop additional work requests and task proposals when project needs change.
