Job summary

TTL is seeking a Senior Bridge Inspector to join our Knoxville, TN team. This role will support bridge and roadway construction inspection, materials sampling, and testing on projects across the Southeast. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of DOT project experience and experience supervising inspectors.

Hourly rate range: $39–$42/HR plus OT, depending on experience and Certifications. TTL offers a competitive benefits package and opportunities for growth in a field-focused organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma required.
• 10+ years of experience providing construction engineering inspection services.
• Ability to communicate professionally orally and in writing.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Proficient in AWP.
• Possess sufficient stamina to work in outdoor environments (hot & cold).
• Ability to lift and/or carry 30+ lbs on varying terrains.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, inspect and document daily construction activities to verify compliance with project plans and quality standards.
• Adhere to established inspection procedures, perform accurate calculations and maintain effective working relationships with project teams, clients and contractors.
• Conduct inspections of grading, asphalt paving, concrete placement, utility inspection, subgrade materials and other roadway and bridge construction activities.
• Document findings and contribute to creating detailed inspection reports.
• Review inspection data and reports to ensure accuracy.
