Job summary

TTL is seeking an experienced CEI Inspector for Knoxville, TN, to support roadway construction inspection, materials sampling, and testing on projects throughout Tennessee. The role requires 2+ years on TDOT projects and the ability to supervise inspectors.

The position includes competitive hourly pay, OT opportunities, and benefits. Build your foundation with TTL and contribute to infrastructure projects in the region.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma required.
• 2+ years of experience providing construction engineering inspection services on TDOT projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel; experience with SiteManager.
• Ability to communicate professionally orally and in writing.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Monitors, observes, and records daily work on roadway and bridge construction projects.
• Follow proper procedures and maintain cordial relationships with coworkers, clients, contractors, etc.
• Inspect grading operations, asphalt and concrete, utility inspection, subgrade material inspection, and related roadway or bridge construction activities.
