Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Bridge Inspector to join our Tallahassee, FL office. You will oversee field inspections for roadway/bridge construction, perform density and asphalt testing, and certify materials.

You will coordinate and mentor lower-level inspectors while ensuring compliance with FDOT standards. The role requires extensive CEI experience, FDOT project background, and CTQP certifications; on-the-job training may be provided to obtain any remaining qualifications within three

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 10+ years related experience, or an associate degree with 8+ years.
• 4 years of CEI experience in roadway or bridge construction.
• Experience working on FDOT projects.
• CTQP certifications listed above or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• FDOT CTQP certificates and IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector; Nuclear/HAZMAT and Stormwater certifications.

Responsibilities

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Bridge Inspector join our T allahassee, FL office.

Your role

• Observes construction work such as a trench excavation, pipe placement, backfill operations, pile driving, structure placement, steel reinforcement, concrete pouring, signalization and lighting.
• Responsible for coordinating and managing lower level inspectors.

About you

• High school diploma (or equivalent) plus ten years of related experience, or an associates degree in a related technical field plus eight years of related experience required.
• Four (4) years of CEI experience in roadway or Bridge construction.
• Must have experience working on FDOT projects.
• Must have the following FDOT certifications/qualifications or be able to obtain with three months: CTQP Final Estimates Level I and Level II.
• CTQP Concrete Field Technician Level I.
• CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level II.
• CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I and Level II.
• CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I and Level II.
• CTQP Pile Driving Inspection.
• CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection.
• FDOT Intermediate Temporary Traffic Control (TTC).

Additional information

Expected compensation range is between $34.00 to $39.00 hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
