French & Parrello Associates (FPA) in Wall Township, NJ seeks an Assistant Chief Engineer – Bridge to provide technical leadership for the Bridge Department, directing complex bridge design, rehabilitation, and transportation projects across New Jersey and the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and Master's in Structural Engineering.
• PE license (NJ/NY/PA preferred) or reciprocity ability.
• 15+ years of bridge design and structural experience.
• Expertise in AASHTO LRFD and NJDOT procedures.
• Proficient in bridge analysis and rehabilitation design.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for bridge design, rehab, and transportation projects.
• Lead QA/QC reviews of plans, calculations, and reports.
• Direct modeling, load ratings, and structural evaluations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and agencies.
• Mentor engineers and develop department standards.
• Support business development and client engagement.
