Arcadis is seeking a Bridge/Structural Engineer to support the design and delivery of bridge and structural infrastructure projects across Tennessee. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or Structural Engineering (ABET-accredited).
• 7+ years of Bridge engineering experience.
• PE license in Tennessee or ability to obtain within 6-12 months.
• Strong experience in structural analysis and design.
• Knowledge of AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications.
• Experience with Bentley software suite (OpenBridge, MicroStation).
• Proficiency with structural analysis tools (Midas, LEAP or similar).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent knowledge of design codes including AASHTO LRFD.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a design engineer for bridges and transportation structures, including new design, inspection, rehabilitation, and repair.
• Lead, assign, and review work while providing technical guidance to team members.
• Develop engineering calculations, plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Evaluate engineering alternatives and apply sound judgment in design decisions.
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and present technical reports, documentation, and design deliverables.
• Perform structural analysis and design with increasing complexity under senior review.
• Provide mentorship and oversight to junior structural engineers on small to mid-sized projects.
• Coordinate across disciplines to ensure integrated solutions.
