Job summary

Pennoni is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer for our Transportation Team in Baltimore, MD. You will lead bridge replacement, preservation and NBIS inspection efforts, mentoring engineers and coordinating load ratings and NBIS projects with regional owners.

The ideal candidate has hands-on bridge project delivery experience and proficiency with BrR, AASHTOware, and 3-D BIM tools like Open Bridge Modeler. A strong track record in scope and price proposals is preferred.

Qualifications

• Program Manager/Project Manager for DOT bridge inspection contracts.
• Providing guidance and mentoring to engineers and technical staff.
• MD SHA and MDTA bridge project delivery experience; DDOT and DelDOT experience a plus.
• Bridge & structure load rating experience using BrR, AASHTOware and other software.
• Experience with scope and price proposal development for bridge preservation & replacement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the scoping, design and delivery of bridge replacement, system preservation and NBIS inspection tasks with MDTA, MDSHA, DDOT, DelDOT, USACE and others.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to engineers and technical staff and coordinate load rating, NBIS bridge inspections and preservation projects.
• Scope and deliver value engineering and construction engineering tasks with regional contractors.
