Job summary

Benesch is seeking a Bridge Engineer to join the Colorado Division. You will lead bridge replacement/rehabilitation projects, mentor junior staff, and deliver complete design packages for DOT standards.

The candidate will have a BS in Civil/Structural Engineering, 5–10+ years’ bridge design experience, and a Colorado PE license or reciprocity ability. Colorado pay range is listed and benefits include a 401K and profit sharing.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related discipline; MS a plus.
• Colorado PE license or ability to obtain via reciprocity.
• 5–10+ years of bridge design experience; strong project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead engineer on a variety of bridge replacement and rehabilitation projects.
• Mentor junior staff and assist with growth of the structural team.
• Prepare and review structural and geometrical calculations for bridge design projects.
• Coordinate plans, specifications, cost estimates, and pay items per DOT standards.
• Lead structural designers on bridge design and rehabilitation projects.
