- Technical Expertise: Provide technical knowledge and guidance on lateral structural engineering within the roadway industry, including areas like bridge and wall design. In addition, being an Engineer of Record for your own work as well as work completed under your direction.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the strategic planning and growth of the local office, setting and achieving long‑term goals.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural engineering required
- Professional Engineering license (PE) in Nevada required
- Structural Engineering license (SE) in Nevada required
- 8+ years of relevant experience in transportation engineering preferred
- 2+ years in management or leadership role preferred
- Design experience with AASHTO LFRFD, AISC, ACI, and other North American design codes and standards
- Proficiency in MathCAD, STAAD Pro, LPILE, LEAP Bridge software, MDX, Bentley/MicroStation products, Midas, LARSA 4D, or other equivalent engineering bridge software
- Proficiency in seismic and non‑linear analysis as well as soil structure interaction analysis, and post‑tensioned concrete
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented and self‑starter; can work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple high‑priority assignments in a fast‑paced environment
- Willingness to learn, provide feedback, and receive feedback
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Understanding of NDOT processes and agreements is preferred.
