Waggoner Engineering, Inc. in Baton Rouge, LA, is seeking a Senior Project Engineer - Bridge Design to lead bridge projects, providing design, analysis and coordination with clients. The role offers a base salary with a $10,000 signing bonus and a potential remote option for the right candidate.

You will guide projects, develop plans and reports, mentor team members, and ensure compliance with AASHTO and LADOTD policies while delivering within budget and schedule.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Louisiana is required.
• Licensure in contiguous states is desired.
• Knowledge of LADOTD Bridge Design policies preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform engineering analysis and design for bridges and related structures.
• Assess existing bridge conditions and develop remedial measures.
• Produce construction plans, specs, and contract documents.
• Perform construction phase engineering with site reviews.
• Ensure adherence to codes and project schedules.
• Provide technical guidance to project team.
