Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of related work experience, preferably with bridge design and transportation structure projects.
• BS in civil engineering with structural emphasis required; MS in structural engineering preferred.
• PE license required (or in progress); SE license a plus for Illinois locations.
• Software knowledge, including MS Office, MicroStation, and structural analysis programs.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of DOT and ISTHA design standards and analysis desired.

Responsibilities

• Act as Project Manager or Lead Engineer on projects under the direction of the Chief Structural Engineer.
• Utilize current technology and engineering software on projects.
• Take a proactive role in business development activities.
• Commit to quality and continuous improvement.
• Develop junior structural staff.
