Job summary

AstraZeneca seeks a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) or Senior MSL to join the Breast Oncology team. The role represents the local medical voice for AZ in the disease area, building a local medical strategy to improve patient care and outcomes in the territory.

The MSL will develop relationships with academia, hospitals, and private practices, lead peer-to-peer scientific interactions, and stay current with scientific knowledge while collaborating with Clin Ops on trials from feasibility to

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree required (PharmD, MD/DO, PhD, PA or NP) in a relevant health science or clinical discipline.
• Ability to express ideas clearly in written documentation, one-on-one conversations and in small group dialogues.
• Demonstrated expertise in discussing scientific content to multiple audiences.
• Strong understanding of clinical study design and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Act as the local medical leader to develop a tailored strategy for AZ US MA priorities.
• Develop strong working relationships with academia, hospitals, managed markets, and private practices.
• Lead scientific exchanges with oncologists and MDT members; peers in scientific/medical interactions.
• Gather insights on treatment landscape and opportunities to improve patient outcomes.
