Job summary

USI is seeking a seasoned graphic designer to partner with national leadership and drive creative development that supports the company’s marketing, branding, and communications priorities. You’ll design compelling collateral across digital and print channels, from sell sheets to presentations, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines nationwide.

A strong portfolio and expert PowerPoint skills, plus proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and basic HTML/CSS, are essential.

Qualifications

4-7+ years of graphic design experience, preferably in-house within corporate, consulting, or financial services environments.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field.
A portfolio demonstrating a range of creative marketing collateral across digital and print, ideally targeting professional services or B2B audiences.
Advanced knowledge of core design principles (typography, design & layout, and composition).
Expert-level skills in Microsoft PowerPoint.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop); experience with After Effects, Premiere Pro, Adobe Flash, or similar platforms is a plus.
Experience designing web platforms, including HTML, CSS, and low code tools is a plus.
Clear understanding of how design supports broader marketing and business initiatives with the ability to simplify complex topics.
Excellent organizational skills, capable of prioritizing tasks and adapting to shifting project demands.
Comfortable engaging all levels of executive leadership/management.

Responsibilities

Partner with National Sales and Marketing leadership to execute creative development for national priorities.
Conceptualize and design compelling marketing collateral across digital and print channels.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to meet marketing and communication needs.
Streamline creative processes and manage/enhance internal asset libraries.
Create new design templates for local offices, ensuring consistency with national branding.
Maintain brand guidelines to support visual consistency across materials nationwide.
Design, format, and update executive-level PowerPoint presentations for board and C‑suite meetings.
Research and recommend modern design approaches to elevate content.
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality, detail-oriented work under tight deadlines.
