Edelman is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our Brand Marketing team in New York, supporting consumer brands across personal care, food & beverage. You’ll lead earned media, craft stories, and manage day‑to‑day client contacts, collaborating with creative, digital, and analytics partners to deliver impactful programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in public relations or communications.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive day-to-day earned media efforts, including developing targeted media lists, crafting pitches and press releases, proactive outreach, and journalist relationships.
• Serve as day-to-day client contact, managing communications, deliverables, timelines, and expectations.
• Support planning and execution of integrated PR campaigns, product launches, brand activations, and always-on media programs.
• Collaborate with creative, digital, paid media, and analytics teams to execute 360-degree campaigns.
• Monitor consumer trends and cultural moments to identify storytelling opportunities for clients.
• Manage multiple projects and keep teams aligned on priorities and deadlines.
• Develop and edit high-quality communications materials, including pitches, releases, briefing documents, and client decks.
• Support junior team members and contribute to an inclusive, collaborative team environment.
