Job summary

Edelman is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join the Brand Marketing team in New York, supporting a portfolio of consumer brands across personal care, food, and beverage. You’ll drive earned media, craft pitches, and manage day-to-day client relations while partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated campaigns.

You will contribute to always-on media programs, product launches, and brand activations, while guiding junior staff and building strong journalist relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in public relations, communications, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive day-to-day earned media efforts, develop targeted media lists, craft pitches and press releases.
• Serve as day-to-day client contact, manage communications, timelines and expectations.
• Support planning and execution of integrated PR campaigns, product launches, and brand activations.
• Collaborate with creative, digital, paid media, and analytics teams on 360-degree campaigns.
• Monitor consumer trends and cultural moments to identify storytelling opportunities.
• Manage multiple projects, anticipate needs, and keep teams aligned on priorities.
• Develop and edit high-quality communications materials for media pitches and client presentations.
• Support junior team members and contribute to an inclusive team environment.
