Job summary

Edelman is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our Brand Marketing team in New York, supporting consumer brands across personal care, food & beverage. You will manage day-to-day earned media, craft compelling pitches, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated campaigns that resonate with audiences.

You are a proactive communicator with at least 2 years of PR experience, strong writing skills, and a passion for storytelling across media outlets.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in public relations, communications, or a related field.
Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Hands-on experience in earned media relations, including proactive pitching and journalist outreach.
Experience supporting consumer brands (CPG, food & beverage, or personal care a plus).
Strong client communication and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

Drive day-to-day earned media efforts with targeted media lists and pitches.
Serve as day-to-day client contact and manage expectations.
Support planning and execution of integrated PR campaigns.
Collaborate with creative, digital, paid media, and analytics teams on 360-degree campaigns.
Develop and edit high-quality communications materials and client presentations.
