Job summary

Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) seeks a Senior Designer to act as a senior creative on the Brand Creative team within the SM+C department. The role develops original, strategic visual concepts and executes design across digital and print for MAC's brand and revenue-generating programs, while directing contractors and freelancers.

The Senior Designer serves as branding expert, develops and maintains brand standards, and ensures work meets production, quality, brand, and cost standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design or related field, or 14 years professional design experience.
• 10+ years of professional design experience as Designer or Art Director.
• 5+ years managing internal staff or directing external resources for strategic creative deliverables.
• Expert graphic design, art direction, and production design skills.
• Expert-level skills in Adobe Creative Suite and other visual communication tools.

Responsibilities

• Create strategically focused, original and audience appropriate visual communication concepts.
• Develop concepts and execute layouts for artwork and copy into various visual formats.
• Research, select, and secure illustrative/photographic material to support design work.
• Finalize layouts for final production in digital and print.
• Obtain client approval by presenting layouts and responding to feedback.
• Provide work direction to contractors and freelance resources.
• Manage multiple projects with internal and external resources.
• Develop, amend, and maintain brand and creative standards.
