Job summary

Nava is seeking a Communications Designer to develop and manage our brand across internal and external channels. You will be the primary emissary of Nava's identity, ensuring consistency in the brand mark, typography, templates, and collateral.

Collaborate with the comms team on digital, print, and social projects that support Nava's strategy. Responsible for annual reports, events materials, and brand guidelines, you will drive brand adoption, research audiences, and work with frontend teams

Qualifications

5+ years design experience with branding, design firm, or ad agency.
Strong foundation in visual design, typography, layout, grid systems.
Literacy in web-based and print-based design software/processes.
Ability to collaborate closely with both a Frontend Designer and a printer.
Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat), Google Drive (Slides, Docs, and Sheets) and Figma.
Experience with developing brand strategy and creating artifacts which clearly communicate the essence of a company's brand strategy.
Experience working with frontend developers.
A track record of gaining trust and respect by consistently demonstrating sound creative, strategic, and analytical thinking skills.
Ability to keep an eye on the big picture while managing the details.

Responsibilities

Developing Nava's brand identity system consistently across mediums, and driving adoption across the company.
Managing brand assets such as brand mark, typography, style guides, illustrations, and photography.
Managing external brand materials including templates, email signatures, LinkedIn Headers, recruiting materials, and more.
Overseeing Nava's brand strategy, audience segmentation, research, and brand usage guidelines.
Contributing to marketing strategy to raise visibility and preference for Nava.
Assisting with visual and communications design needs on projects as needed.
Developing and maintaining Nava-internal brand processes.
Designing annual reports for digital and print (e.g., Public Benefit Report, DEI Report) with research, testing, and concepts.
Creating branded assets for events and conferences; supporting business development visuals.
