Qualifications

• 6-10 years of relevant experience
• Previous experience in banking or financial industry preferred
• Sales management experience preferred
• Registered or willing to register as mortgage loan originator with Nationwide Mortgage Licensing
• Obtain or willing to obtain unique identifier from Registry
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Consistently demonstrates analytic skills

Responsibilities

• Develop sales plans and drive production goals; build referral network and internal/external relationships
• Provide coaching and performance development; implement coaching plans to raise staff skills and achieve branch goals
• Develop and execute integrated sales, relationship, and credit strategies aligned with Retail Bank priorities to meet goals
• Identify opportunities to deepen relationships and grow client base; ensure optimal service and monitor controls
• Collaborate with branch partners to achieve goals and deliver customer service
• Use workforce planning to optimize staffing and set expectations; foster teamwork to achieve goals
• Partner with Assistant Manager and Division Operations to drive outbound sales and community partnerships
• Ensure adherence to operations; investigate losses; coach and manage staff performance
• Lead hiring, performance management, compensation and evaluations
• Plan and budget; contribute to policy and short-term resource planning
• Assess risk with business decisions and ensure compliance; escalate issues and maintain accountability
